Ravensburg is situated 20 km north of the lake Bodensee. The hand unit is part of St. Elisabeth’s Hospital, being a major hospital with 620 beds. In cooperation with the trauma unit we operate a 24-hour emergency service serving the region.

A short-term residency of 1-3 months is most suitable for clinical training in hand surgery, with a wide spectrum of emergency and elective cases. One main focus is on osteosynthesis at the hand and wrist
