| In the Limbs & Spine Division of the IBRA different surgeons, researchers and applicants of techniques for stabilising and modifying bone are merged as a group to further study and develop the clinical and fundamental backgrounds of treating bone injuries and bony disorders. By applying the most modern techniques and by using all the available sources of knowledge and capacities we want to collect information, gain knowledge and spread these in order to provide a profound basis of treating skeletal injuries and disorders. We are struggling to apply new principles, develop new devices and teach their application to ease the work of the surgeons treating patients, provide better healing, speed up rehabilitation and achive better functional results to increase quality of life in patients with musculoskeletal disorders. The research in this field is combining different approaches and collects the work of different research groups to provide advanced treatment options and increase excellence in the care of patients with musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
