Research Committee
The IBRA Research Committee is concerned principally in evaluating, for financial support,
research projects dealing with bone biology and the improvement or development of internal fixation devices
for maxillofacial and hand surgery. Since the IBRA Foundation is still in its early days of existence, and has,
as yet, only limited funds available, it will at present consider for support only small grant proposals dealing
exclusively with improvement and development of medical devices for internal fixation in the aforementioned
clinical areas. Funding by the IBRA Association is open to everyone, not just to members.
Submitted project proposals are evaluated by the Research Committee twice a year.
