With profound sorrow, we have to announce the passing of our esteemed IBRA Member, Mr Kar Hao Teoh, a distinguished specialist in Trauma and Orthopaedics, who left us much too soon on August 3, 2023.

Mr Kar Hao Teoh was a valued faculty member of the IBRA Ankle Osteoarthritis Master Course in Basel. His passion for the subject of foot surgery has been strongly demonstrated in his presentations and the emphasis Kar Hao Teoh has placed on research. Not only did Mr Teoh enrich the courses professionally but also by being so joyful, caring and above all lively, he always created a nice and warm atmosphere around him.  

We will remember him as an extremely kind and generous person. Our deepest condolences go out to his wife, young son and all his family and friends.

Mr Kar Hao Theo's family is gathering thoughts and prayers for Kar Hao for 100 days so that his transition to heaven will be smooth. Please think of him especially during this time until November 11, 2023.
